Online Motor Vehicle Registration Facility For Citizen

Excise and Taxation Department of Punjab is going towards reforming.The Minister of Taxation & Excise Department announced that they are going to provide Excise and Taxation services online soon.This reforming will connect 36 district of Punjab online for motor vehicle registration purpose.

The citizens will get benefit in terms of motor vehicle registration along with selection of number of their choice.However it also provide facility to pay token tax online and get stickers containing token tax detail.

In the meeting Minister of Finance,Minister of Excise & Taxation Department were present,and meeting was attended by Secretary Prosecution,Secretary Excise and Taxation, Director General including other senior officials belonging to police, law, finance and Excise & Taxation Department.

At this time citizens have only facility to check online vehicle verification and SMS services to deliver computerized number plates through courier service.
