LTC Going To Introduced E-Ticketing System

Lahore Transport Company (LTC) is taking step to start E-ticketing System to facilitate passengers.This system will help in collection process of fair easier along with transparency of providing subsidy to private transport operators. The new modernize E-Ticketing system facility will be available within a week on all route of buses of Lahore.

While chairing the agreement signing ceremony of e-ticketing between Lahore Transport Company, TPL Trakker Limited, and private transport operators at the Chief Minister Secretariat recently, LTC Chairman Khawaja Ahmad Hassan briefed that;

"This is the vision of Chief Minister Mian Shahbaz Sharif who always stresses the importance of public transport and revolutionary changes for rectification of the whole system. E-ticketing is being introduced in urban transport system that viewed as a milestone and will be proved as a role model for other cities in Pakistan. This public friendly and cost effective system will encourage foreign investors in urban transport system.”

New E-Ticketing device will be equipped with Wi-Fi, GPRS, and GPS which will transfer data about real time number of passengers to central computer and it it also monitor the movement of buses.
